Congratulations to Jessie-Lee who has been to the National World-Skill competition in Sydney this year and won the national Beauty Therapy competition. Jessie was chosen because of her professionalism, attitude and application to her Beauty training and the industry. The World Skills competition brings together the ‘best of the best’ in their chosen career. The candidates have to demonstrate their competence in front to not only judges but also an audience, press and their peers. Jessie who trained and worked at the Academy has taken time off so she could pursue extra training with Sue, the principal, in preparation of her competition in Canada which paid off tremendously as she won the gold for her efforts, out of 18 international competitors from all around the world, Jessie shone to prove Cairns Beauty Academy is still performing to a standard that can win a gold medal internationally, We are very proud of Jessie who will now embark on furthering her career in Sydney where she has been offered a wonderful position as an assistant teacher. Jessie is a superb beauty specialist and we wish her all the best and will miss her at the Academy.
